Film industry statistics, in one useful place.

Recent figures on worldwide theatrical revenue, cinema attendance and production work, collected from named industry and public sources.

Updated October 13, 2026

A compact sourcebook for people following the business of film.

These figures are selected for clear sourcing and practical context. Each statistic links to its original publisher and includes the year or forecast period it describes. The measures are not interchangeable: box office is theatrical revenue, admissions are tickets sold, and the employment figure covers one U.S. occupation.
